“My Queer Blackness , My Black Queerness (MQBMBQ) “ shines a spotlight on Afro-Italian Queer dancer Nnamdi Nwagwu with an editorial project that speaks to his moment of pride and personal journey of self acceptance. With a ballad of movement & self narrative poetry, the dancer guides us through the waves of his mind as he reflects on his experience as a Black Queer dancer growing up in Italy and the weight of the expectations put upon him by the society around him and how he has managed not to be defined by them but to use them to his advantage in creating his identity as an artist. Nnamdi Nwagwu will be a part of a Calvin Klein Digital Experience that celebrates Pride. It will also feature a few other talented performers and artists and will be streamed from Milan on Monday September 20th at 7pm on calvinklein.it/live.
